Sales Tax Campus Emporium charges 5.3% sales tax on all orders shipped within Virginia, which is calculated based on our location in accordance with 2013 tax law. VA sales tax also applies to orders picked up in the store.


Shipping Policies
Orders received by 3:30 pm EST Monday-Friday are generally processed the same day. Orders received after this time or during a high-volume period will be processed the next business day. All in stock merchandise will be processed and shipped within 3 business days ("Business Day" refers to Monday - Friday, excluding holidays), but the vast majority of our orders are processed the same day. Orders being shipped to an APO or FPO box will be shipped via United States Postal Service. All other destinations will be shipped via UPS.

If a package is unable to be delivered due to an incomplete or incorrect address entered by the customer, the customer may be charged a $10 redirect fee, as Campus Emporium is charged this amount (or more) by UPS for such errors. Please check your address before and after submitting your order. Call us immediately to make any necessary corrections.

If the item(s) you have selected are out of stock or if more information is needed to process your order, you will receive an email from CampusEmporium.com and a phone call. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE PROVIDED A CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS THAT YOU CHECK REGULARLY. Orders are subject to a delay until we receive any needed information.

Ground Transit Times from Campus Emporium Shown in business days. UPS does not operate on weekends. Orders received before 3:30pm EST are generally shipped the same day. Drop ship, made-to-order or backordered items may have different transit times.







    In-Store Pickup Online orders can be picked up in our Downtown store (207 North Main)-- and it's free! Simply select In-Store Pickup as your shipping option during checkout. Orders received before 3:30pm EST Monday-Friday will be ready for pickup the next day. Orders placed after 3:30pm EST Friday will be ready after Monday afternoon. You will receive an email when your order is ready. Please call for rush or weekend pickup requests. You will be called and/or emailed in the event of issues with your order and your order may be held until we hear back from you, so it is important to provide a current phone number or email address. All in-store pickup orders are eligible for VA state sales tax and will be adjusted accordingly.


    International Shipping Excluding APO/FPO, we do not currently ship outside the US.


    Package Intercept Through UPS, Campus Emporium can (in most cases) intercept a package already in transit. If you request a package be intercepted for any reason (that is not the result in an error on our part) you will be charged $10.00, which is UPS's current fee for package interception.

    Backorders Unforeseen demand or manufacturer delays occasionally result in items that are out of stock. Some quantities are limited. We will inform you of any such event and you can then let us know how you would like us to proceed. If back orders are unacceptable, we will cancel the item from your order and refund any payment made. Back ordered items will be shipped separately as soon as they are available with no additional charge for shipping.


    Returns
    We are happy to refund or exchange most unused items. All items returned for refund must be received within 30 days of purchase. Please ship returned items to:

    ONLINE EXCHANGES OR RETURNS MUST BE TAKEN TO OUR DOWNTOWN LOCATION. Exchanges will be recharged shipping ($8.50 for UPS Ground), except in cases of Campus Emporium's error or mis-ship of your order OR if you choose to add another item to your order.     If an item doesn’t fit or you simply change your mind, just do one of the following:

    1. If you will be in the Blacksburg area, simply bring it by our Downtown location with your order paperwork and we’ll take care of you. As with all returns the items must be unused and in sellable condition.

    2. Enclose the item in a box or envelope and include your return form (included in online orders) and/or a note explaining what you’d like us to do and ship to:
